Taj has exhibited at Hercules Art Studio Program in New York City, Agony Books in Richmond, Virginia, St. Mary’s College of Maryland’s Boyden Gallery, Villa Heike in Berlin, and digitally through the Maryland State Arts Council. In addition, his images have been featured by Booooooom, Pomegranate Press, Pearl Press, and other digital and print publications.
Taj’s practice is dedicated to the liberatory potential of visual and textual language. His work looks critically at the human condition in context with black ontology, cultural traditions, historiography, and aesthetics.
